15 years on from his film debut in 8 Mile – Marshall Mathers is back to the big screen but this time behind the camera – as producer of rap battle film ‘Bodied’.

Described as a ‘satirical exploration of the world’s most artistically brutal sport — battle rapping’,  ‘‘Bodied’ is director by music video director Joseph Kahn and is based on Toronto rapper Alex Larsen (Kid Twist)’s script.

Set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival September 7, the film  includes appearances from Debra Wilson, Anthony Michael Hall, Shoniqua Shandai, Alter Perez, Rory Uphold, Jackie Long and Callum Worthy.
