Disturbing London have today announced that the elusive A2 is the latest artist to join their roster.

After working on it for two years, the South London producer, rapper and singer is set to release his highly anticipated LP ‘Blue’ this summer. His sporadic Soundcloud uploads, woozy R&B compositions and EP’s bound by a sense of mystery and introspection have garnered him a loyal fanbase. After this announcement and his part in NME’s Future Generation campaign, he’s set to gain many more.

Speaking to GRM Daily he said:

“I kept pushing it back because it didn’t feel right, but now I’ve got eight songs done and it’s the best music I’ve made.”

“It’s the quality of what I’ve already made, but times 100. It feels, to me anyway, very real, very fresh, very new. It’s about the music, not me; I want the music to do the talking, I don’t want the focus to be on me.”

With a sound clearly rooted in grime and London street music, A2’s melodic and emotive style has often been compared to Bryson Tiller, despite the fact that his style has remained the same before Bryson Tiller gained international fame.

Disturbing London will manage 360 services for him including publishing and production ahead of his LP’s release in Summer 2016.

“When we set up Disturbing London ten years ago, the intention was to house British home grown talent, exactly like A2.″

“He is an extremely talented rapper, producer and artist that perfectly compliments our roster. I firmly believe A2 is the future.”
