Available from today, ACW* and Dr. Martens’ latest collaboration focuses on the 1460 boot and 1461 shoe, giving them a rugged look for SS22.

The collaboration retains Dr. Martens’ classic silhouettes and signature yellow threading as Samuel Ross adds his utilitarian design aesthetic to the mix. The laces are made less visible on the 1461 shoe and 1460 boots, concealed behind structural eye stays with a pair of brushed metal rivets. On the side of the shoe is a reflective ‘linear graphic’, nodding to Ross’ love of industrial materials, that contrasts with a yellow triangle where the product code sits.

Both styles get a lift with a double-height Bex Neoteric sole made from PVC to form a lightweight base. Inspired by Brutalist architecture, the two-part construction gives the shoe and boot an urban edge.
