[@boadimusic] is merging Neo Soul and Afro-Funk in his EP ‘AwoMaa’
Boadi (pronounced bwer-dee) is a singer-songwriter and producer from South London. Citing D’Angelo, Fela Kuti and Marvin Gaye among his top musical influences it’s clear to see the foundations of his soulful exchanges.
With the release of his Sophomore EP ‘AwoMaa’ Boadi and his band have had a great 2017 debuting on DJ Target’s Radio 1Xtra Homegrown show and performing to a sold out crowd at the Servant Jazz Quarters.
