Heavily inspired by Y2K fashion, Destiny had a child pays homage to Tina Knowles’
dressmaking through the 2000s. The music group Destiny’s Child had many memorable outfits during their career which Tina Knowles had a significant hand in, with anexcellent eye for making Beyonce and her peers look unified. Stylist and Creative Director Kenya Lendo represents Black women in an environment where they are successful and exultant together, and looking good doing it, rejecting the idea that Black women don’t work well together. Black women are ethereal, particularly when we join forces doing what we love.
