Space Jam 2 is finally on its way. It feels like a century ago when the last Space Jam hit the big screens and surprisingly so considering how much of a hit it was, raking in $230.4million worldwide. Rumors of a sequel to the 1996 classic starring the legend Michael Jordan, have been curculating for a while but now we have definite proof it is going ahead.

Justin Lin, Andrew Dodge and Alfredo Botello are writing the script for the looney basketball sequel which will star NBA superstar LeBron James. Lin, who is also set to direct and produce, is the man behind The Fast & Furious 6 and Star Trek Beyond so expect this to be an epic production.
