Ghanaian drill artist Yaw TOG over the past year has dominated the scene with his unique sound. The artiste has not only gained attraction in Ghana, but has become a global phenomenon putting Ghanaian drill on the map with his single “SORE” which he went on to remix with Kwesi Arthur and Stormzy. Starting his career in 2020, the artist has already won Hiphop Song of the Year (3 Music Awards) and Best Hip-Hop Song of the Year (Vodafone Ghana Music Awards) this year; being nominated for a total of 7 awards in 2021 (to date) alone.
Due to the rapid growth of Yaw’s global presence, Ghana Party In The Park invited the artist to perform in London. Ahead of his visuals release for “Fake-ex” the rapper enjoyed his time in London visiting the BBC studio and attending Stormzy’s birthday party at Thorpe Park.
