[@Guiltybeatz] Brings The Animated Visuals for His Track ‘Pilolo’

The “Akwaaba” rising star GuiltyBeatz drops the animated visuals for his new track.

‘Pilolo’ features fellow Ghanaian musician Kwesi Arthur and Afrobeats royalty Mr Eazi. Guilty offers his talents to yet another production that continues to prove his stardom.

The video see’s GuiltyBeatz in his home town of Ghana where he is running for his life as he is chased by the police. He manages to escape incarceration by using his DJing capabilities as a distraction.

Commenting on the track, Guilty says: “The word ‘Pilolo’ is relatable to many Ghanaians. It’s mainly a game of hide and seek which involves intelligence, fun and wit. Famous dancer ‘Incredible Zigi’ also created a groundbreaking dance move with the same name.“

He adds: “The song feeds on this background and inspiration to give listeners a playful yet, catchy vibe. Kwesi, Eazi and I found an entertaining way of expressing a typical hide and seek setting but with an everyday-love-chase twist to it.”

GuiltyBeatz is also referred to as Ronald Banful, he is a Ghanaian DJ and Record producer and began making beats at the age of 14 on his Sony Ericsson phone via an app called ‘Music DJ’. His popularity really began to heighten within Ghana in 2010 where he had the pleasure of working with renowned stars. Like Sarkodie, R2Bees, Stonebwoy plus many more. Guilty’s hype began to transpire outside of Ghana with the likes of Wizkid, Mr Eazi and Wande Coal all taking a shine to his productions.

In 2018, Guilty signed to Mr Eazi’s record label Banku Music and released the smash hit “Akwaaba” ft. Mr Eazi, Pappy Kojo and Patapaa. It was this record that also won him the prestigious ‘Hip-Hop Song of The Year’ award at the Ghana Music Awards. The beatmaker is also responsible for crowd pleasers from Eazi’s highly coveted mixtape ‘Lagos To London’ .

With last year proving such a success for GuiltyBeatz there’s no telling what limits will be reached in 2019.
