On 11th November Embrace U Empire, founded by Haylee Venus, are hosting Inspiring Edge Fashion Show at the Haringey Irish Centre.
They are raising awareness of mental health and fundraising for Mek Ah Step CIC. The show gives aspiring creatives the chance to showcase and develop their talents.
Mek Ah Step deliver creative arts and sports workshops to 5 to 16 year olds helping them to develop socially and personally. In December they are going to Jamaica to work in a youth facility in Mount Salem, in Montego Bay, bringing the young people access to creative skills and training. Previous visits have included schools in Gambia and St Lucia and orphanages in Jamaica.
