BBZ x TATE exchange EXHIBITION

Join BBZ at Tate Exchange for 4 days of FREE events exploring the duality of the queer, trans and non-binary black identity in the UK.

BBZ x Tate is a multi media and multi sensory exhibition spotlighting the production of  LGBTQ+ communities.

The four day event will feature installations, discussions and a special late night takeover.

You will have the chance to  explore and understand how DIY culture, cloud communities and nightlife have created safe spaces for queer communities to survive and produce. Don’t miss out on the important intimate discussions about trans identity and queer narratives.

Drop into a designated co-working and library space to work and meet others, browse a collection of zines and literature dedicated to QTIPOC empowerment and movements all over the world, join a Show and Tell or Zine Exchange to find out about new and existing zines from the community.

There will be many activities across the four days, including getting to watch a video on BBZ TV, a video essay on the Queer black condition and on top of that, you will get to see a special screening of short films by Black queer womxn.

Be apart of the ongoing conversation, educate yourself and allow yourself to be transformed intellectually. Bring your friends, family and anyone who you’d think would benefit from these days of inner growth and intellectual awakening.
