Knot is an editorial by Shashamani about people and communities coming together on and off screen.

Knot was created during lockdown, following a great time of racial and civil unrest, aiming to convey the beauty of love, joy and sisterhood, despite the darkness surrounding the world right now. Knot, showcases garments from Shashamani’s SS21 collection, inspired by the complexities of Black hair and the abundance of styles and knowledge.

The imagery aims to show the regality and love that lies deep within Black Sisterhood, emphasised by the bold colours and prints taking pride in our vibrant culture.
