Mélanie Lehmann is unapologetic with every image she publishes. The multi-hyphenate creative consistently produces stunning work, whether it be her self-portraits or editorials with individuals like styling Queen “Jennifer McKing”. She proudly owns her identity as an intersectional feminist which is laced in every detail of her projects. Every piece is a beautiful representation of stories that exist in the mystery of women.  Lehmann is unafraid to delve into the multi-faceted ways to represent women. We see many faces and personalities represented in every image. She makes the viewer feel inspired with every frame. 

 Lehmann’s art is an explosion of colour. Throughout her work, there is a fusion of glamour, film costuming and classic retro imagery. She transports you to moments that make you wish you were a fly on the wall.  Lehmann’s ability to effortlessly tell a story that interlinks with her activism gives this photographer a voice, that speaks volumes about where we are in society today.
