Rising singer-songwriter Kemi Sulola re-emerged late last year with her latest single “Raindrops”. The introspective record dabbles in soul with the singer’s smooth vocals instantly soothing listeners throughout. Now the singer marks the beginning of 2020 with the accompanying visuals.
The black and white video sees Sulola take to the streets of East London accompanied by various dancers and wider characters which together build multiple narratives across the visual. The powerful cut is directed by Junior Alawa of Spiro Digital and is said to be strongly inspired by Michael Jackson’s “Stranger In Moscow” music video.
Kemi Sulola is set to release more music as the year progresses, but for now, check out the “Raindrops” release above.
