Last weekend on October 17th 2021, GUAP took front row seats to watch the world’s fastest 3on3 basketball tournament – Red Bull Half Court. Red Bull Half Court is a global streetball tournament. For the fastest version of 3on3 basketball, it’s all about getting buckets and playing high-octane offense to break down the opposing team’s defenses.

Teams from allover the world came down to get a chance to be crowned Global Champions with Team Serbia (Mens) and Team Russia (Womens) taking the crown home.

As the men’s Final came down to the wire, Team Serbia and Team Russia were locked in a tie. It was Bulut, considered to be one of the greatest 3on3 players of all time, who charged toward the basket and suddenly pulled back for a spectacular jump shot that won the game.

Afterwards, the Serbian star said, “It’s simply amazing. Especially when you play in this kind of park, you see that the passion for the game is here, and you want to give a show to the crowd. Then to win at the end of the day, it just can’t get better than that.”

With a highly interactive crowd, good music and even better dance performances, Red Bull half court was an atmosphere not to be missed. We look forward to going down to next year’s finals which is set to be hosted by Egypt!
