You didn’t know about: Flohio….

Flohio has been killing the UK scene recently, performing at iconic museums like Tate and the V&A. I was lucky enough to give her that first radio interview mid 2016, but in case you missed it…….

Describe your sound in 3 Words.

I would be lying if I actually described my sound because it changes depending on my mood so I don’t know. I don’t think too much about it most times I’m just always on some radical, no chill vibe and then other times its peace & love.

Why is music so important to you?

Music speaks volumes; it’s a language that has no barrier whatsoever so anything goes! No rules and no regulations, just people sharing emotions and energy through rhythms. The right energy does wonders plus music heals as well. I could go on forever but all of this makes music important to me.

When your think about your biggest dreams, where does your mind take you?

My biggest dreams… my mind can wonder for ages if I think about my biggest dreams you know, there’s so much I would like to do and my mind has no chill but for a start my mind take me around the world like in every nook and cranny of it.

Hindsight’s a bitch! What do you wish you could have learnt earlier?

Learnt not to give a fuck, absolutely no care in the world. Just be free.

I like you too. Everything is on Soundcloud, I’m still trying to get the hang of Instagram (@Flohio_) though, and I thought I was tech savvy, not in 2017. These new updates are long I can’t lie but nah I’m trying to be more active on most of them so yeah come and find me guys!

Summer is finally approaching so ‘Lotion’ came just in time. Make sure you cream up before you step out!

TCX is a group of 6 creatives ranging from designers to artists who have been grafting in the background for 5 years;

S’A & CWBY – have been making music with each other for years before becoming a band called NOT A ROLE MODEL who work under TCX. They’re self-taught artists and prefer to make Rap/Rock/Alternative Grime whilst sampling random and unheard tracks and even anime. They released an EP called ‘Variety Pack’ last week, which will have a few unheard and released songs.

If you love to stay two steps ahead of the charts Nina Rose Events needs to be on your radar! If it’s not her open mic night, Acapella she has artists performing at her Unique Runway Fashion Show. This month ‘The Zone’, a live listening party will take place in South West London and with talent like Ace Motif and Alicai Harley performing and myself **brushes shoulder off** hosting, this is one not to be missed – get your tickets!
