Adidas Originals and Palace Skateboards’ have a history of collaborative collections throughout the years, with fans and critics both singing their praises for the two brands’ efforts. The two streetwear giants continue to make consumers happy and they have teamed up once again to add to their impressive catalog for the spring/summer 2016 season.
Creative director Blondie McCoy heads up the new collection once again, which features a multitude of co-branded pieces and sets. Though some of the pieces, such as the popular tracksuits, have been seen in past collections, Adidas and Palace do a great job of modernizing their efforts – electing to focus on maturity by employing the use of understated materials and designs. The footwear component of the drop sees a callback to the first-ever release from Palace and Adidas, with the PALACE Pro and PALACE Pro Primeknit silhouettes seeing a resurgence.
