The Great Escape [@thegreatescape] 2022 FIRST FIFTY Announced

The Great Escape’s FIRST FIFTY live launch is back bigger and better than ever.

Today The Great Escape Festival has not only announced their first fifty acts, they’ve also announced a set of shows in November – including one hosted by GUAP. 8 of the shows will be in London as is standard for the FIRST FIFTY launch, but new for 2021 is a live show taking place in the festivals hometown of Brighton and an online showcase. The shows are going to be taking place from the 17th to the 19th of November and will be showcasing some of the best emerging talent you could see right now including names like Enny, Tems, KAM-BU, Kwaku Asante and more. Tickets start from £7 and are available to purchase here.

You can come down to The Hackney Social for an intimate gig hosted by us here at GUAP on November 17th and catch performances from KAM-BU, Deema, and Conor Albert. This isn’t one to miss and tickets for the show are available here. You’ll be in for a night of vibes spanning across Rap, Grime, and Jazz-inspired alternative sounds by some of the most talented artists coming out of London.

The Great Escape is the festival for emerging music, of all genres, and in 2022 is set to host over 450 artists in over 35 venues (within walking distance of each other) alongside an industry led music conference from 12-14 May 2022 in Brighton. The line up is already looking special with the aforementioned names Priya Ragu, Wu-Lu, Finn Askew, Dreya Mac and more amongst the first names to be announced (full list of 50 below) – and there are so many more incredible artists yet to be announced. Early Bird tickets for the festival are also now on sale and starting at £70 for all 3 days.
