Time can sometimes heal wounds, but not those that are left gaping wide open. PBFF feels like Tora’s learning curve as she attempts to heal wounds that have been picked and poked over and over. The song unravels as she makes space for this healing and untangles her thoughts with her expert penmanship.

The video is an ethereal interpretation of the single as Tora gives into her thoughts with images depicting a truly mesmerising tangle of limbs and body movement. Born from pain and broken hearts the song isn’t without hope and includes a moral surrounding the importance of learning and perspective.

The world has been digesting an endless stream of uncertainty and calamity over the years and people have naturally internalised many of their thoughts and feelings. Tora’s new single, prod. by Josh Grant is essentially the London artist’s conceptualisation of self-care and the negative impact of internalisation, as she explains:

“PBFF is about acknowledging the lasting effect that people can have on you & rather than it being a permanent stamp it’s about choosing what to take from them as you move forward. In this video, we wanted to express how emotions that are often thought of as limited to internal shifts can show up physically too”
