[@tyrell169] Makes His First Venture Into Solo Artist Territory With ‘Gone’

169 shows he can do way more than just make beats with new track Gone.

At this point you will have undoubtedly heard of 169, Most likely due to his frequent collaborations producing for Dave, but also having produced for Stormzy and working with Craig David. Here on Gone he steps into the limelight himself by vocalling the track, Of course he also produced and mixed the track as well showing his talent off in spades, Here’s what he had to say about the track:

“We all go through a lot of experiences and changes in our lives, but it’s about how you react to them, and remain the same through it all,”

Gone is a track that should definitely stand out amongst the backdrop of U,K, music. It doesn’t rely on riding off of the success of the genres that are currently garnering attention such as: afroswing, drill and grime to mention a few. Instead 169 gives us smooth R&B vocals in a manner comparable to Bryson Tiller.  The visuals are kept simple, a dark atmosphere and just him and his friends. Although not too flashy, the plain visuals compliment the track extremely well as it allows for the song to shine without the visuals stealing away any focus. The track is a definite vibe and is hopefully just the beginning of bigger and better things for 169.
