Uniqlo and Mame Kurogouchi collaborate for LifeWear Line

The latest collection to come from the Uniqlo LifeWear line is in collaboration with Mame Kurogouchi by fashion designer Maiko Kurogouchi. Uniqlo x Mame Kurogouchi focuses on innerwear in signature curvaceous styling that employ such Uniqlo advances as AIRism and 3D Knit.

The pieces in the collection are beautifully cut and subtly sculpted to accentuate the female form to bring the ‘beauty from the inside out’. Maiko Kurogouchi said about the new collection, “As a designer, one of my challenges has been to enhance feminine comfort and beauty with intimate items. Innerwear is an everyday essential; it’s the first thing we put on after waking up and it needs to feel comfortable on the skin. This collection will contribute to healthy and happy lifestyles.”

You can expect skirts, trousers and dresses that can be worn as loungewear or as stylish, comfort-first options for going out day to day. The collaborative collection also features underwear with Uniqlo’s AIRism technology; a breathable layer with moisture wicking properties that adapts to any weather condition to keep you dry and comfortable. The collection comes in a neutral palette of soft beiges and browns, as well as the essential black and white colourways, all made to be visible under clothing, eliminating the boundaries between innerwear and clothing.

Uniqlo x Mame Kurogouchi is set to launch in store and online from June 24th.
