Vitaly present a dystopian future for SS21 collection G3N3S1S

The Fashion scene in Canada is steadily developing and with it comes a new cohort of emerging designers and brands creating their own narratives in Fashion. Toronto-based Jewellery brand and design studio Vitaly is one of those brands.

Established in 2011, Vitaly have dubbed themselves accessory architects, referring to their signature clean lines and structural forms that define the genderless jewellery they make from 100% recycled stainless steel.

Why steel? For starters it has the benefits of being rust-free, tarnish-free and it won’t turn your skin green. Steel is also easy to recycle and has a lifespan of up to three decades, making each Vitaly piece sustainable.

The cyclical nature of the steel used to make their experimental jewellery influences Vitaly to continuously explore ideas such robotics, artificial intelligence and industrial manufacturing processes.

Their latest collection and editorial titled G3N3S1S embodies all of the above imagining a post-apocalyptic world that references dystopian science fiction.
