Introducing the first episode of our new series “Take Stage” where we capture the historic moments & thoughts behind some of the world’s best acts, right before they hit the stage.

First up is international act ELHAE who we caught up with at his headline show at XOYO, which took place on the 20th September and was supported by local talent Geovarn, Hudson East, TE dress & SNE.

The multi-talented rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer has received tremendous success and critical acclaim since releasing his 2014 project Her: Ark’s Fall. In 2015 he followed this up with his Aura EP which lead to him working with the likes of Pharell Williams, Rick Ross, Tory Lanez, BJ The Chicago Kid and much more as well as signing to Atlantic Records. His latest project All Have Risen released in March 2016 is a 11 track EP with the lead track “Doesn’t Matter’ featuring Kehlani and a co-sign from DJ Drama.
