Watch: J Hus [@jhus] releases visual to hit "Friendly"

Today, J Hus releases the video for his new single ‘Friendly’.

Having leaked late last year and amassing over 700k plays on his SoundCloud, the track got an official release via Black Butter Records earlier this month.

Due to popular demand online, the typically entertaining visual for ‘Friendly’ adds another dimension to a track that is already catching fire across the airwaves. The track has been racking up plays on the 1Xtra B-List as of last week, plus numerous spins on Radio 1, Capital Xtra and Kiss.

Nominated for Best Newcomer at last year’s MOBO Awards, and included on the long-list for the 2016 BBC Sound Poll, Hus is at the forefront of the UK scene and rising fast. His The 15th Day mixtape, which dropped last year alongside smash single ‘Lean & Bop’, highlights his ebullient blend of Dancehall, Afrobeat, Grime and R&B, winning acclaim from The Guardian, Fader, Noisey, Complex and i-D, and clocking over a million plays in its first month. Securing a single deal with Black Butter, known as the incubator of talent of everyone from Rudimental to Jess Glynne and MNEK, Hus ended 2015 featuring on Tinie Tempah’s Junk Food mixtape and is set to appear on Katy B’s forthcoming album.
