Watch: Kojey Radical [@KojeyRadical] Releases Visuals For “Footsteps”

Contemporary artist and spoken word poet, Kojey Radical releases the first visual from the critically acclaimed 23 WINTERS EP entitled FOOTSTEPS, directed by long time collaborators THE REST.

‘Footsteps’ is easily Kojey’s most compelling visual to date. Potent in its approach, footsteps speaks as a vivid portrayal of internal struggle and a depiction of human resilience. Every frame is bursting with an attention grabbing sense of confidence; as we witness Kojey physically battle with his personal demons.

Kojey has never been afraid of using his poetry to illustrate a compelling and relatable narrative. Kojey’s lyrics are brazen, honest and unforgiving speaking candidly on his position as a poet in the music industry, his hopes for his family and the struggles of his surroundings.

“You think I give a fuck about a genre? I’m still trying to send my parents back to Ghana.”

Kojey uses footsteps to sit on the cusp of poetry and rap in a way that has never been heard before.

The visual was styled by Umps Machaka as well as the creative team behind A-COLD-WALL*  Samuel Ross and Ace Harper. Featuring cameos from renowned model Harry Uzoka and performances from Kaner Flex and WET WIPEZ who recently appeared in recent visuals and stage shows by FKA TWIGS.
