What’s All The Fuss About @YoungThug’s Pop Up Shop In London?

Off the back of an incredible set of UK dates supporting @champagnepapi on his boy meets world tour; featuring @thuggerthugger1 and @travisscott emerging from the depths of the stage (lol, I hope he’s hope he’s alright still). The pair both performed some of their big tracks from 2016 including pick up the phone and goosebumps. Not long after, Thugger announced on his Insta that he was doing a pop up/meet and greet at Camden market.

With appearances from folks like @ianconnorsrevenge, emerging artist @bandannaclips [of @onlythehouse] and an abumdance of fans in some very lit fits; simply put, the vibe of the whole event was very low key but extremely gassed none the less. In terms of the clothing, it was exactly what you would expect from thug. The collection included a range of short and long sleeve graphic tees, denim jackets, hoodies and tote bags. All garments had that classic “slime” inspired cinema 4d style artwork with prices ranging from £25 – £150.

What made this pop up well worth the trip for me was the whole aesthetic. Including a set of dancers and selected models, mannequins draped in spray paint, lean inspired speakers decorated with Fanta cans and jolly ranchers; the whole look was completely on point with praise going to Young Thug’s personal stylist who put together the look for the shop.

With still a day left of the event I would encourage any young thug fans to 100 percent make the trip, but even if your just a fashion head or wanting some dope tour merch for the gram, I would still recommend the checking it out and who knows… You might be able to catch an exclusive moment with the man and his squad.
