Following the release of Drop 6 yesterday Little Simz is giving fans a virtual listening party and Q&A.

You might not have even been aware Little Simz had released Drop 6 yet but she’s keeping momentum for the project strong. If you haven’t listened to it yet you still have time before the listening party. The EP is 5 tracks long and has a just over 12 minute run time so still enough time to at least give it a first listen. But really you don’t need to listen to the project to tune in, it’s a listening party after all. Drop 6 is typical for Simz, so expect diverse choices sonically. It ranges from experimental beats that blend a few sounds to some more traditional production. Yet regardless of what genre or style Simz floats across the beats all the same, with an ease that has been developed through dedication to her craft. You don’t even have to question the content at this point if Simz is releasing she is saying something, there’s no wasted words or songs lacking meaning. It is a solid drop and hopefully just the start of things to come from Simz this year.
