Use This Tool As One Way To Educate Yourself On The Black Experience

The worldwide protests in the aftermath of the killing of George Floyd have alerted many white people to the knowledge that they need to do better to educate themselves about the black experience. Where racism has unjustly become the “normal” in black lives, some white people believe that a world where there are no public sightings of men in white hoods means that racism no longer exists. When black people are forced to live under a systematic regime that has been built to oppress our community to the point where even our lives don’t even matter. The Black American experience is a unique one, in comparison to the rest of the diaspora. This week, come and find TV shows and films that will give some insight into the Black American experience when dealing with racism. Use this as one of the resources to educate yourself and stand up as anti-racist ally black people.
